How do I sign up for The Amazing Race?
There are only two ways you can apply to become a contestant on the Emmy award-winning CBS reality TV show: • Apply online. Applications are available at CBS.com. However, it’s important to note that applications are not always available. While the website remains accessible year-round, there are times when the application page will include a note from producers saying that they are not currently looking for new applicants and asking that you to check back later. • Open Casting. Each year open casting calls for Amazing Race contestants are held in various cities throughout the United States. Fortunately for people living in smaller cities, these open casting calls do not take place exclusively in major metropolitan areas. In years past, these events have been held in smaller cities such Green Bay, Wisconsin and Altoona, Iowa. You can get information about upcoming open casting calls by contacting your local CBS affiliate.
