Notify NYC has always allowed you to register for school notifications, however now they are becoming more school specific. You’ll need the ZIP code for the school(s) you want to receive notifications for. If you do not know the ZIP code of your school, you can go to http://schools.nyc.gov, and use their “Find a School” tool. Remember that the ZIP code you are providing is not your own, but the ZIP code of the school or area where you want to be notified about.
