How do i share my broadband connection over my wireless router?

You can’t use that device with cable. First of all, as you know, that d-Link is not just a router, it’s a DSL modem and router combination. If you had DSL service, that’s all you would need. But, based on the specs I read, you cannot attach that to a cable modem and use it as a router. The router is expecting a DSL input. Just get a regular wireless router. Not a HUB. Hubs won’t share the connection properly. Get a router.

If your Modem came with a driver disc, and it should have, you might need to open up (or activate) the wireless option. I have a Westel modem, and a D-Link Wireless. I needed a wireless access point for my Direct tv Receiver. I just plugged the ethernet cable from the Receiver into one of the 4 WLAN ports, but it wouldn’t connect! After several attempts, I accessed the router (192.168.1.1) and went to wireless proprieties, and that fixed it! I hope that helps! Good luck!!!

I don’t understand the question… That’s what the Wireless ROUTER is designed to do. I don’t know D-LINK… (I am a cisco expert) Call d-link support – you may not have your WIRELESS OPTIONED enabled.
