Solution: The HWR54G Wireless-G Router is not initially designed to function as a pure Wireless Access Point, however setting it up to do so is very simple. Please follow the instructions below to set it up. Make sure all your hardware connections are connected and powered. Open you set up page at http://192.168.1.254 From there, click on the navy blue tab on the top called LAN. From there, uncheck DHCP server and put in an IP address and Subnet Mask for the applicable lines. Typically, your Subnet Mask should be 255.255.255.0 The IP addresss should be on the same network as theoriginal router in your network.
