How do I setup Parental Control (OpenDNS) correctly, and configure the access levels for different home members?
After you have successfully setup the WPN824N to connect to the Internet, you can install the Live Parental Control utility using the CD that came with your package. After following the instructions on the CD and completing Live Parental Control installation, install the “Management Utility”. On your PC, go to Start > All Programs > NETGEAR Live Parental Controls. Please go through the setup procedure to create your OpenDNS account and choose a filtering level for your network. If you want to setup access levels for different home members, please click the “Change Custom Settings” under the Live Parental Controls Management Utility – Status page. The instructions will guide you to the Live Parental Control – Default settings page. Then click the option “Add a bypass account” to download the user utility. This user utility will help you to configure different filtering level for different accounts on multiple computers.
