How Do I setup outSPOKEN for use with an MS-SAPI speech synthesizer?
Before installing outSPOKEN with MS-SAPI speech support, an MS-SAPI speech synthesizer must already be installed on your system. Be sure that MS-SAPI version 3.0 is installed and that the synthesizer is running correctly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select the MS-SAPI speech driver in the outSPOKEN installer’s synthesizer list. When outSPOKEN starts, outSPOKEN automatically recognizes the MS-SAPI synthesizers that are installed on your system. The outSPOKEN preference Voices dialog will contain a combo list box with the installed MS-SAPI synthesizers. You can switch between any of thee synthesizers while outSPOKEN is running. When a new MS-SAPI synthesizer is installed on your system, the synthesizer is automatically added to the list of MS-SAPI synthesizers.
