How do I setup my gradebook if I want to weight assessment types in some classes and not in other classes?

A. It seems that the classes that they do not want to weight in still require a weight in the prep screen so they are leaving them all 1’s. This is still weighting. The only way to not weight would be to make all assignments the same type. Our suggestion right now is to have teachers spot check a couple of students’ averages. If they are not calculating correctly, they will need to choose View/Change Assessment and make all of the assessments the same type. Again this only effects people who have chosen Use Assessment Type Weights in their Setup and who do not want to weight in a class. Q. How do I change my grading scale to O, S, N, U Note: this is only for those who give O, S, N, U (or something similar) in all the classes that they use the gradebook for. Also you have to be given permission to change the grading scale by building administration.a. Use this handout.
