To ensure that you have Outlook configured to work with Shark Modem please see the following steps. 1. Go to the our Accounts section of the Outlook/Mail Client 2. Find where it says “POP and SMTP” servers. (Please write the name of theses servers down) 3. Next replace the server names for the POP and SMTP with localhost 4. Save the Mail Account Profile 5. Locate the Shark Modem Proxy App on your Computer and go to the options tab and put the POP3 Server that you wrote down from your mail client in the space provide. The port number should be okay. Please verify that the ports are the same as the ports in your Mail Account. PLEASE CLICK THE APPLY BUTTON BELOW ON THE SHARK PROXY. If you don’t click the APPLY button the changes will not take place. 6. You are ready to test the Shark Modem using your Outlook/Mail client.
