How do I setup multiple domains with MiniPortal EP?
• Register each domain name with a Domain Name Registrar or Domain Name Reseller on the internet. If you wish to use an existing domain name, just proceed to step 2. • Set the DNS entry for each domain (the DNS ‘A’ record) to the IP address of your server. Use the external IP address of your router if your server is not directly connected to the internet. Note that only 1 IP address is required even if more than 1 domain is used; this is because the HTTP protocol informs the web server of the domain name. • If you have a static (or fixed) IP address, your Domain Name Registrar may permit the IP address to be set directly in the DNS for the domain.
