How do I setup different user accounts and different level of authority?
To setup user or admin account, login to DVR’s Setup menu as shown below Select “User Management” and enter. Select “Authority Setup” and enter. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through the setup menu. Press ‘Enter” to make changes to an item after selecting it. There are a total of 9 different authority levels, ranging from level 1 to 8 and disable. DVR administrator can define different authority levels for different items. After an item being assigned an authority level, it can only be access by accounts with the same or higher authority level. Selecting disable for an item will allow the item to be access by all users. Press “Esc” to exit “Authority Setup” screen, select “Account Setup” and enter. Use the directional buttons to navigate and select the account info to be edit. Note: Admin account’s ID can not be edited. By default only admin and one user account are activated with authority level 8 and 4.
