How do i setup a wireless internet connection for my laptop?
If somebody copies something from a sourse it should be put in the “Know your sourse” section to give proper credit to those who spent countless hours, months and perhaps years in gaining the education and then compiling the information into a resourse for others. At a minumum you will need a cable ISP, if you do not want to go with a phone line ISP, both which are DSL. Then to go wireless you need a Wireless Access Point, better known to be in the form of a Router, even though you can buy a router without an access point in it. So, a cable DSL connection, and a Router, and depending on yoru preferances a Wireless Adapter. Now, most laptops sold today come with wireless capabilities built in. You can use this for all your hotspots and for your home wireless connection, but I really advocate purchasing an adapter from the same manufacturer as the router. I have found not mixing and matching unless you have to saves a lot of dropped connections and stops problems with incompatability. Ma
