How do I set up the Proxy to use Netscape instead of Internet Explorer?
Basically the same rules will apply here as they did in Process C listed above. The only real difference is in Netscape you will need to Click on the Edit menu, and then choose preferences. Once you are in the preferences menu, you should see a feature in the menu called Advanced (it may have a plus sign to the left of it). Click the plus sign. Next choose Proxies from the sub-menu under advanced. Then click View beside the Manual Proxy Configuration. See figure below for setting up the proxy IP and Port numbers. I am completely computer illiterate and have no clue how to get the settings to work. I realize the contract I signed stated each user was responsible for their configurations, but I really need help. What can I do so I can go online? Since we realize not everyone takes their computers out of the box and automatically begins to customize them.
