How do I set up the Epson TM receipt printer to work with ConsignmentTill?
Note: If you have an Epson printer with a serial interface, then you need to use a null modem serial cable or use a regular serial cable with a null modem adapter. You can download the driver from the TEST DRIVE page. Comment on internal printer defaults: Print Density: 1, 2, 3 (1) You can see that the density defaults to the lowest on new printers (I found this too light). I recommend that you change it to the darkest (3). You will need to change dip switches at the bottom of the unit. For this, you will need to read the manual that comes with the unit. Also note, if you change the speed (bits per second) on the unit, you will need to change it in the printer driver (I recommend though, that you leave the speed as is – 9600).
