Here’s what you need to know, read the back of the receiver. They do have something written on the back of it. For example the back should have something like DVD in. Just follow the colours. For the video component of your DVD. 1) If your connecting component video you should see Red, Green, Blue 2) If you are connecting composite video you should see Yellow 3) If it’s a s-video signal you should see a circular connector with a different pattern than the other connectors. It looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-Video The audio part: 1) Analog Audio – RED and Blue or RED and White 2) Digital audio- I’ve seen this in different color sometimes it’s orange, sometimes it’s black. Read the back of your receiver to be sure. Now for the speakers? I’m not sure how this receiver looks like. Is there a speaker binding post? Anyways try to arrange them like this: Front Right, Center and Left Then put the 2 rear speakers
