How do I set up payees for MetroPay?
You can set up your payees online in just a few easy steps: • Select BILL PAYMENT from the blue/yellow menu bar. • Then select PAYEES. • Click the “Add Payee” button. • In the box marked “Payee Name,” enter the name to whom you wish to make payments. • NOTE: There are two ways to make payments to a payee. One is with electronic funds, the other is by a check that is written and sent on your behalf. The system will search for Payees that accept electronic payments when you enter the Payee Name on the “Add Payee” screen. If the requested payee is not found, the payee will be paid by check as indicated on the Payee detail. • In the box marked “Payee Alias,” you can put in anything you wish to help you identify the payee or payment.
