How do I set up my Ingenico EFTPOS terminal in RetailManager?
1. Go to the Setup menu and choose Hardware. Select the EFTPOS tab and the following window is displayed. 2. In the Institution/Model field choose the appropriate terminal type. 3. Select the serial port your terminal is plugged into from the Serial Port drop-down list. 4. Click Apply to save your settings and close the window. Setting up your electronic payments types 1. Go to the Setup menu and choose Options. 2. Click the Payment Type tab and the following window is displayed. 3. In this example, we will configure the EFTPOS payment type. Click EFTPOS once to highlight it and click Edit. The following dialog will appear. 4. The checkbox ‘This payment type is electronic’ must be ticked to be able to send data from the computer to the EFTPOS terminal.
