How do I set up inbound OpenURL access into FirstSearch full text?
In addition to taking the steps necessary to activate OpenURL linking into services like FirstSearch from your own OpenURL linking service (contact the vendor or your IT group for assistance), please make sure you have also completed the following within the FirstSearch administrative module interface (this assumes your institution has licensed access to the full-text database(s) to which you want to enable inbound OpenURL access): • You have enabled Direct Article Access for the full-text database (Authentication/Access tab >> Database Access page >> check the appropriate boxes under the Direct Article Access column). • You have enabled IP address recognition (Authentication/Access tab >> IP-Address Recognition page).
