How do I set up DairyLive Companion?
If you have purchased the DairyLive Companion Palm program, you must first set up your Palm device. Follow the instructions of your Palm device manufacturer. Once you know that your Palm device is able to communicate with your PC, start up DairyLive and select the Setup DairyLive Companion option from the Tools menu. Click the first check box which indicates that the current herd is one you want to use for synchronizing with the Palm. Type in a short herd name in the space provided, and click on the bottom check box to indicate that the DairyLive Companion software should be downloaded during the next HotSynch. Now go to the Check Lists tab and check which check lists you want to be downloaded to the Palm. For each check list, you should also click on the Setup button to specify which columns of the reports should be downloaded. Now you’re set to go.
