How do I set up Arrival & Departure Updates in Family Locator?
An Arrival & Departure Update is sent to your cell phone when the designated Locatee arrives at or departs from a specified location. Note: You must first download a Family Locator Member application to the phone you wish to receive Arrival & Departure Updates for. You will be prompted to do this when you attempt to set up an Arrival & Departure Update. • Launch the Automatic Location Update Creation Wizard by selecting “Add Update.” • Select “Create Arrival & Departure Update.” • Select which Locatee’s arrival and departure behavior this update concerns. • Select contacts to receive notifications (VZW MDNs or any email addresses). • Select a Location (created previously via “Add Location” under the “Locations” tab). • Choose a boundary radius for the location (2, 1 or 1/2 of a mile). • Give the Update a name. • Select duration (until canceled, until first notification, for a period of time).
