How do I set-up and configure the Matrox Parhelia video card?
A. Prior to installing the Parhelia card, Matrox recommends installing Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. Required to installing the card, you must install MS .Net framework (available on the Matrox install cd) as well as Service Pack 1 for .Net (available from Windows Update>Windows XP). It is also recommended to set the AGP Aperture Size to 64 or higher in your system’s BIOS (more info here: http://www.pcmech.com/show/video/171/2/) and Assign IRQ to VGA enabled . 1. Physically install the Parhelia AGP card. Note that output #1 is located closest to the motherboard and output #2 is the other (this is reversed from previous Matrox cards). Connect the DVI to CRT adapter to output #1 and connect your left-hand monitor to the connector. Plug the CRT/S-Video dual adapter to output #2, connecting your right-hand monitor to the CRT connector and your NTSC monitor to the S-Video plug. 2.
