How do I set up and configure Agent to access Forte APN measured or unlimited service?
Both our Measured and Unlimited accounts use the same authentication system. To configure your APN account in Agent 3.x and 4.0, choose Tools | Servers and Accounts | News Servers Host Name: [ news20.forteinc.com ] this is the news server name You should select: Login method: username and password. You will need to append “@forteinc.com” to your login name in Agent or any news client. Enter your username and password in the Login Credentials section, or use the New option to create a new server, and check to save password between sessions. The Click OK to save settings when finished If you already have existing newsgroups and messages in this copy of Agent, you will need to synchronize your subscribed newsgroups the first time you get new headers. Select all subscribed newsgroups, and then choose Action | Get Headers | Catch Up With Selected Groups to update without downloading any messages, and Action | Get Headers | Get All headers in Selected Groups to update and download new messag
