How do I set the waiver wire up? How does it interact with the Dropped Player setting?
A. Both the waiver wire and dropped player setting work on players that were dropped back to the Free Agent (FA) pool. The waiver wire allows you to let teams put a waiver request in for a dropped player and then assign that player automatically to a team based on criteria you set. The waiver wire and dropped player setting work in addition to each other with the waiver wire given priority. In other words, if you set the waiver wire for 48 hours and the dropped player for 48 hours, the player will be on waivers for the first 48 hours, and then be unavailable as a FA for the next 48 hours. If you only want the waivers, then leave the dropped player setting on immediately. Claims are completely seperate from waivers.
