How do I set the dilution ratio on the Kennel Jet System?
Find out what the dilution ratio for the chemical you want to use. For this example, lets say the dilution ratio is one once per gallon. Pour the liquid chemical you will be using into a container that’s graduated by ounces. Place one of the chemical drawtubes from the Kennel Jet into the container. Turn the corresponding chemical selector knob to the right and stop on number 3. This is the typically the correct metering for a 2 ounce dilution (64:1) product and will give us a starting point. Turn the power switch of the Kennel Jet to the on position. Select the low-pressure nozzle on the gun. Pull the trigger of the gun and spray water for exactly one minute. After one minutes time, look at the container and see how many ounces of chemical where taken out of the container. Using the example of a once ounce per gallon dilution ratio, and since the Kennel Jet dispenses 2 gallons of water per minute, we would want 2 ounces of chemical to be drawn out of the container.
