How do I set the channel number on my transmitter (which is also necessary for responses to be received in class)?
The transmitter has a channel number that must match the channel number of the receiver. In this class, the channel number will be set to 01. You need to set the channel number only once this semester, unless you have to change your batteries (see below) or if you are taking another course this semester in which you also use the same transmitter (this is extremely unlikely, but if you have another class that uses the same transmitter you’ll need to set the channel at the beginning of each class). To set the channel, press the GO button of the transmitter. Then, when the light is alternately flashing red and green, press 0, then press 1, then press GO again.
