*This articles assumes you are already logged into CPanel* In the second row of CPanel, the first icon on the left is labeled as FTP Manager. Click it. This will take you to a new page where you will see 4 choices. The 3rd choice down reads as Anonymous FTP Message. Click it. On this page you will see an empty box (assuming you do not already have a message set). In this box, type the text that you wish users to see when they login to the anonymous FTP. Once you have done this click the button labeled as Save Message. You will now see a page with the following line: When your visitors connect to your anonymous FTP server, they will see following welcome message: After that line, the text you have entered will be displayed. Now, when users connect to the anonymous FTP they will see this text.
