How do I set my Surround EX receiver/decoder for Pro-Logic source material (mono surround channel)?
Most users have reported that reverting back to only using the l/r surround speakers (set the Surround EX unit into Stereo or passthrough mode) works best with Pro-Logic material. The surround back speakers will see no signal. However, you could experiment with using the surround back channel (adjusting signal levels, equalization etc) and see what sounds best in your home theater.
