How do I set my mailbox to treat all email as spam unless the address or domain is on my safe senders list or within my address book?

Go to http://webmail.smu.edu and login with your SMU ID and Password. Click the options button, and scroll to the Junk email options section. In the junk email section modify the following options: Check, Also trust e-mail from my contacts and Check, Treat all e-mail as junk unless it comes from someone in my Safe Senders or Safe Recipients list, or from senders in my organization. Click Save. Note: You do not have to login to Webmail to manage your safe sender’s list. Once you are within the Outlook program keep a frequent look on the Junk email folder, when you see a message that is a legitimate email, right click the email, select Junk email. From that list you will need to either set the sender as a Safe Sender or the sender’s domain to safe (@smu.edu, @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.) Once the message to set as “safe” you will need to manually move the message into the Inbox, however, future emails from the sender will be directed directly into the Inbox.
