(A) – The current Apple email program in OS 10.3 Panther doesn’t support animated GIF files, at least when sending them to someone, though it does receive them. However, there is a new email client program for Mac OS X called Thunderbird available at http://mozilla.org that does support animated Gif’s and it really works great, you simply drag the Gif image into the email body and click send. I have heard that the next update in the Mac OS called Tiger (soon to be released) will have this capability built in.
