How do I search for primary sources in Owens Library?
• From the Library Catalog Guided Searches section, click Keyword • Type s:sources and [a search topic] (Example: to locate primary sources about the civil war, type s:sources and civil war) • Click the Search button • Click the displayed item(s) which match your topic to locate the call number and location
• Within the Library Catalog’s Advanced tab, change the drop-down menu box selection from Any Field: to SUBJECT (LC):, in the first search box enter sources • In the second search box, enter a search topic (Example: to locate primary sources about the civil war, type “civil war” in the second search box) • Click the Submit button • Click the displayed item(s) which match your topic to locate the call number and location
