How do I search for courses or classes that meet General Education Requirements (GECs)?
Use the Course Attribute and Course Attribute Value search fields, which are available in both Course Catalog Search and Class Search (expand the Additional Search Criteria section to view them in Class Search). Look up and select “GEC” as the Course Attribute and then look up and select the appropriate requirement (“Historical Survey”, “Literature”, etc.) as the Course Attribute Value. Note that GECs vary across different majors and colleges, so make sure you verify your GEC choices with your advisor or college office.
