I’m not familiar with that printer, so I’m assuming it is a printer/flatbed scanner. It came with software, you want to open the software and find where is says scan a doc, then put the paper in the scanner and do the scan. Also some scanners have a button on them called scan, you push the button and a box opens on your desktop and you go from there.
