Conway Arkansas   You can try to cut the leaves back on the plant. With the roots in tact, you will have to fertilize it. Of course, you will water it when you fertilize it.  Water the plant sparingly until you see some new growth coming from the roots. I have tried this and was successful in bringing my plant back to life. I left it outside while I was on vacation and found it had withered away to nothing. I tried this method and was very successful.
