How do I save an IM conversation (chat session) in Pidgin?
In an effort to protect and secure University-owned data, we do not recommend logging, saving or printing IM chat session; however, we understand there may be exceptions that require the saving and printing of these chat sessions. From the Chat window, 1) click Conversation on the menu bar and select Save As… from the list. 2) The Save Conversation window is displayed. If necessary, click the Save in folder pull down arrow and choose a destination folder. 3) Click the Save button.
