How do I save a poster so other programs can read it? Q: How do I save a drawing as a GIF, JPEG, or TIFF file?
Select File->Save As, and set “Save as Type” to a BMP file (a bitmap) or an EMF file (enhanced metafile). This will save your poster or banner as a xxxxx.bmp or xxxxx.emf. Then import the .BMP or .EMF into another program, like WORD, Corel Draw, etc. Use the BMP file for a simple graphic. Use the EMF file if you want to smoothly scale the poster to any size. To save as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, etc: From POSTER/PRESENT-iT/PUBLISH-iT: save as a BMP file, then import into a program like Paint Shop Pro, and convert it to the format you want. From DRAWIT: set “Save as Type” to JPEG, GIF, TIFF, etc. NOTE: The BMP and EMF files do NOT preserve all the information that Poster saves in a .POS file. If you are going to work on your poster or banner at a later time, be sure to also save it (and reload it) as a .POS file.
