How do I return to Active status after leaving and returning to the industry?

Effective January 1, 1996, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) were required for certified individuals. Effective January 1, 2000, certified individuals who had not obtained the proper number of CEUs and had not paid the annual renewal fee were considered to be inactive. To remain in an active status, a certified individual leaving the industry after January 1, 1996 and returning in any year after, must pay the annual renewal fee ($50 per certification, not to exceed $100 per year) and submit CEUs for all years since January 1, 2000.
