You didn’t buy an item from eBay, you bought an item from some other guy. eBay was only the marketplace, so the help they can give you is limited. The first thing to do is try to contact the other guy and try to work it out. If that doesn’t go anywhere, you might be able to file a dispute resolution claim through eBay.
