How do I retrieve the Country/Region/City data from the IP Number?
Firstly, convert the IP address to IP number format (see question 3). Search the IP-Country-Region-City database using IP number to match a record that has the IP Number between the Beginning IP Number and the Ending IP Number. For example, IP Address “4.2.226.123” is “67297915” in IP Number. It matched the following recordset in the database. “67297912”,”67297919″,”US”,”UNITED STATES”,”TEXAS”,”FLOWER MOUND”,”33.0327″,”-97.0895″,”B & T ENTERPRISES” From the recordset, we know that the Country Name is “UNITED STATES”, Country Code is “US”, Region/State is “TEXAS”, City is “FLOWER MOUND”, Latitude is “33.0327”, Longitude is “-97.0895” and ISP is “B & T ENTERPRISES”.
