Creative MediaSource provides a database backup and restore tool. You can access this tool by clicking Tools > Settings in the top drop-down menu bar. Then click on the “PC Music Library” tab of the settings page. There will be a “Backup Now” and “Restore” button. Note that the “Restore” button will be grayed off if backup has not been done before. You can choose to back up the database immediately or schedule Creative MediaSource to perform a backup at regular intervals.
