Windows XP by it’s design prevents any theme except Luna or Royale (depending on what XP we’re talking about) from being used, unless changes were made to it by you to enable third party themes in the first place. There should be a Luna folder as well as a .theme file named Luna. If there ISN’T, that is why Luna isn’t working: all of the theme resources are gone. You can try to use System Restore. This would make your computer’s system files from a certain date return to a prior state so you can use your PC as if it was working from that date forward. The downside is that any PROGRAMS installed since that point would have to be reinstalled, since they no longer exist in the registry. (Your documents and media will be fine.) Go to All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore and from there choose the date before you installed the program and it’ll take you back to your original settings.
