How do I restore files backed up on a CD?
Open the CD FolderInsert the backup CD into any CD or DVD drive on your computer. A folder may automatically open up if you have the auto-run feature activated on your computer. If not, simply go to “My Computer” and click on the disk drive that contains your backup CD. A folder will open up displaying the files and folders you wrote to the disk as a backup.Copy the FilesCopy the files to your hard drive by dragging and dropping them onto your desktop or into another folder. Alternatively, you can use the copy and paste function to copy the files you want and paste them to your desktop or other folder.Put the Files in the Proper LocationMove the files you copied to your hard drive back to their original locations or to the folder of your choice. For some important system files, you may need to know the exact location where they were originally located in order for them to function properly.
