How do I resolve problems printing checks on the Panasonic KX-P series continuous-feed (dot-matrix) printer?
Some Panasonic KX-P series printers use a printer driver that has its own margin settings, and these settings conflict with Quicken program margin settings. Change the margin settings in the printer driver to eliminate the conflict. To change driver margins for a Panasonic KX-P continuous-feed printer, perform the following procedure: • Start the Quicken program. • From the File menu, choose Printer Setup, and then choose Check Printer Setup. • In the Check Printer Setup window, is the Panasonic KX-P selected? • If yes, continue to step 4. • If no, select the appropriate Panasonic KX-P printer from the Printer drop-down list. • Click the Settings button. This opens the Panasonic KX-P window. • Click the Options button. • In the Options window, click Margins. • In the Unit box, verify that the unit is 0.01 inch. • Enter the following margin dimensions: Left = 25 Right = 0 Top = 0 Bottom = 0 • Click OK.
