How do i reset the family settings pass code on my Xbox 360 Console?
i just called ms today and found out how to do it the first thing to do is go to the system tab slect console settings go down to system info click on it then press this in order Lt RT X then Y LB RB X then press the directional pad left right left you will then see a screen to reset your settings hope this works
Well after a long and frustrating talk with the challenged customer service workers, I’ve found how to reset the pass code if you don’t know the original one or the answer to the random question that was set. Start by going to the SYSTEM tab and select CONSOLE SETTINGS. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and select SYSTEM INFO. When you open up this screen, just hit these buttons in this order: LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER If it doesn’t work right away, just try it again. A screen should pop up asking you if you would like to reset the settings. This won’t delete your profile or anything so select YES. The XBOX will restart itself and it will then ask for the language and country again. Next it will ask for info on the pass code. Choose the rating you want the code for and then input your new code.
