How do I request shRNA clones, purified plasmid product, or lentivirus?
Access the “Request Clones” link, identify all shRNAs targeting your gene, or genes of interest by determining accession numbers from NCBI or the RNAi Codex. Determine the availability of clones within the current lentiviral library and record the Open Biosystems unique ID (V2LHS number). Finally, decide what form (plasmid, clone, or vector) will be most useful to your studies. note: Open Biosystems only guarantees 70% or more knockdown when at least 3 constructs, targeting your gene of interest, are utilized.
