How do I request coverage for a high value shipment?
If you are an AFI Cargo Policy, or are insuring shipments for your customers, you can login to your account at the AFI dashboard and report your shipment(s) there. If a high value shipment is needing to be covered ($10,000 or more) you will need to contact AFI prior to booking to verify shipment mode of travel and packaging. We will go over with you any questions of for further clarification if necessary. If you do not have a AFI Insurance Policy and need to cover a specific shipment valued at $10,000.00 or less, you can purchase an instant policy here(link). If you do not have a AFI Insurance Policy and need to cover a specific shipment valued at $10,001.00 or more, fill out our Request for Cargo Insurance Coverage form here(link). An AFI specialist will contact you within 2 hours.
