How do I request copies of Traffic or Misdemeanor court documents?
There is no telephone service available to pre-order copies of Traffic or Misdemeanor court documents. These documents must be ordered in person or by submitting a request through the mail. To request copies of Traffic or Misdemeanor court documents in person, go to any one of the courthouse locations. To request copies by mail, send written requests to: Clerk of the Courts P.O. Box 14610 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33302-4610 The cost of copies is $1.00 per page and, if needed, $2.00 per page for certification When requesting copies by mail, the Traffic and Misdemeanor Correspondence Division will order the case file and respond back with the number of pages and cost for the request.
