You can request articles and non-book materials with the web forms provided by Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary Loan provides separate forms for loan and photocopy requests. It is best to fill out the fields with as much information as you can provide. This is particularly true for required fields (marked by an asterisk): title and author for book requests, journal title, article authors, article title, volume, year and page numbers for photocopy requests. If you do not have some of the required information it is acceptable to fill it in with “unknown”. However, filling out the form with the most complete citation possible will speed the process along. There is also a separate form for UIUC Doc Express, which is a fee-based service that collects and delivers journal articles housed on campus.
