A. If the case is a DM, DC, DX, DZ or DO, you will need to obtain copies from Room 61, Coleman A. Young Municipal Center. For other cases, you will need to complete a Request Access to FOC Records form. Once you have completed the form, you must submit your form along with $4.00, per order, to the Friend of the Court. This can be done in person at our Cashier Window in the Customer Service Area, 2nd floor of the Penobscot Building or by mail to Wayne County Friend of the Court, 645 Griswold – P.O. Box 31-1443, Detroit, MI 48231-1405. Payments must be received before the documents can be copied. Attorney checks, money orders (no personal checks), made out to Wayne County Treasurer, or cash, are accepted.
