How do I report my programs data when the most recently completed academic year for my program is different than what is defined in the HES?
In general, the HES designates the “most recently completed academic year” as August through July for CAA reports. If you are submitting a report that is due August 1 and your academic year does not end until a time after the submission date, you should report data based on the most recently completed academic year as it is defined by your program. For example, if you are submitting a report on August 1, 2010 and your academic year does not end until September 1, 2010, you should report data for faculty experiences, Praxis pass rates, graduation rates, or employment rates based on the 2008–2009, 2007–2008, and 2006–2007 academic years because your academic year 2009–2010 was not completed at the time of the report.
