How do I report an error with EFILive?
Before reporting any problem that you may experience with EFILive, make sure you are using the latest version. To determine which version of EFILive you are using, select the menu option: Help->About. The latest version of EFILive can be downloaded from here. Please include the following information: • An email address where you may be contacted. • When reporting a problem with the Scan Tool software, please include the error report that was displayed by EFILive. If no error report was displayed, please manually generate a report (see next FAQ for instructions on how to generate an error report). • When reporting a problem with reading or reflashing a PCM using the Tuning Tool software: • Please include the *.blx file that matches the failed read or reflash attempt. *.blx files can be found in the folder \My Documents\EFILive\V7\Bug reports\ and will be named YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_upload.blx (for read attempts), or • YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_download.blx (for reflash attempts) where YYMMDD_HHMMSS rep
