How do I report a student who was expelled and is now attending an alternative program?
The standard ADM record should reflect the withdrawal date. A second record would then be submitted showing the date the student began attending the alternative program and the program type code and hours of instruction. If the student leaves the alternative program and returns to the regular classroom, a third record would be created showing the standard ADM with a start date of when the student returned. Refer to the Student Accounting Manual, Appendix K for information on reporting alternative programs.
